One of my favorite computer games is tetris. On the mac, I play Quinn http://www.simonhaertel.de/quinn I'm looking for a good linux tetris game. I would prefer to have one not terminal based. I really want to have shadow-piece. If I need to, I will use a windoze version in WINE

Try kblocks (formerly known as Sirtet, the KDE tetris clone.
BTW, if you're into wasting time, I recommend Frozen Bubble. It has two disadvantages, however. (1) It's a GTK game so it brings along a lot of other "stuff", so if space is tight, you might want to reconsider. Second, you'll never do anything useful again.
