    SOLVED: SD card: Data recovery?

Accidentally formatted the SD card (vfat) from my palm.
Any tips to try to recover data?
Dont pretend you havent noticed my cardboard box, Julia, because I know you have!

PhotoRec should find all/most of your files.
    PhotoRec is part of TestDisk.

Gotta study the how-to on the site, easy to do.
You can install TestDisk in your Kubuntu or a Live CD or use the Testdisk/PhotoRec included on the GParted Live CD. Run it with sudo
    sudo photorec

TestDisk -- PhotoRec -- Knoppix (or other Live CDs)

Use TestDisk to recover deleted partitions, deleted partition tables, or deleted MBRs.
Use PhotoRec to recover lost/deleted files, even after reformatting the partition.
