what's the partition utility on LiveCD?

This puzzles me, what's the partition utility in Kubuntu? I know that in Ubuntu there's GParted, is there something similar on the LiveCD?

Yes I know I can install GParted on LiveCD, but I wonder if there's already something there, I know the installer has access to some tools, is there a hight level tool like GParted on Kubuntu Live CD that I've missed?

From this page http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/da...-i386.manifest the only partition editor available on the live cd is 'parted'. It is only command line though.

I remember qtparted was available of few cycles back.

The one most people use is GParted, but it is NOT installed in Kubuntu by default--you have to install it.

I think KDE Partition Manager is an excellent app . Why doesn't KDE Team intergrate it to KDE?
