Can KMail startup full screen

I like to use KMail, but I want it full screen. Every time I start it, it comes up in a window. Each time I click the full screen button, but the next time I start, I'm in a window again. Most programs remember their settings and return in the same condition as when they last closed. How do I get KMail to do this?

You can try right-clicking on kmail's titlebar, select Configure Window behavior, then Window Specific. Look to see if there is an entry there for kmail/kontact and delete it if one exists.

Kmail saves it's "window size" when it quits, so make sure you quit kmail in fullscreen mode. Note that if you have kmail icon in notification tray, kmail is still running.
