I just have kubuntu 6.06 installed and try to familiarise myself with this distro.
One problem I came across is xsane, which reports no devices available. This is correct, there is no scanner attached physically to this pc.
There is however a saned scanner on the network (a SuSE Linux 8.2 System). All workstations can connect to the networked scanner, except the newly installed kubuntu machine.
Which config file holds the setting for network scanning?
