    What version should I download

Yes a complete idiot here that is pretty new to linux

I am running an Asus A6U laptop with a 64bit turion processor 512mb ram.

I have previously installed Xandros which was easy to use but was told to try Suse so I installed 10.1 using KDE but had major problems with Yast so I looked at Kubuntu but I am not sure what version to install and if I should download the version for a 64bit processor.

Also does Kubuntu come with some install program manager like yast on suse?

Any help and or advice would be greatfully appreciated

    Hi,

You can install 64bits version or 32bits... just know that the 64bits has less good support... But I'm using it and I'm happy with it
The package manager in kubuntu is adept, but you can use also synaptic or command line...

    Have fun
