We need a countdown thingy on the site.

There is this sort of thing on Ubuntu.com, we need one for Kubuntu, too, in my opinion. What it looks like:
    <script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.ubuntu.com/files/countdow....js"></script>
    It gives something like this:

I really want to put a Kubuntu one on my page Because Kubuntu=awesome

Yes. It is early enough that you can propose this in the Kubuntu page Launchpad site.
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/kubuntu-website

Now, if you google for kubuntu counter, you'll find some interesting stuff, like this:

I just feel it should all be put in the ubuntu.com site. Or at least, in kubuntu.org ...

That's for InterpidIbex 8.10, one for JauntyJackalope 9.04 would be awesome

Well, yes, and that's whay I meant by "early enough". I am just poiniting out there have been similar initiatives. I also found a post (not at my hand now) from an Ubuntu mailing list about branding the countdown for all the family of *buntus.
