    Kubuntu is slow?!

I have noticed that Kubuntu is slower than openSUSE or other KDE based distros.

Is there any tutorial on how to speed up kubuntu?

What operation or function are you using to reach this conclusion? There are many things that the OS does -- some could be faster or slower than the same thing in another distro:

        - hdparm output?
        - ethernet throughput?
        - glxgears frame rate?
        - spreadsheet calculation?
        - some database re-indexing operation?
        - untarring something (like Linux kernel source)?

Without something specific to discuss and compare, "slower" is kind of hard to evaluate.

            Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 (3 GHz)
            RAM 2 GB

When I am starting KVpnc it takes a lot of time to open it and also when I try to disconnect it takes a lot of time.

Memory errors is a big problem.
That is NOT to be ignored.
Get it fixed. Either find out if your machine is overclocked; otherwise try the memory in another machine and try the memory from that machine in your.

                No, it isn't overclocked.
