    Wacom tablet isuue

    I have my tablet working but can't get wacomcpl to open in kde4 jaunty. I've change the fdi file and install the wacom tool package. Wacomcpl appears to open but the GUI doesn't show.
    I have it working in jaunty mix/kde3.5
    Also how can I add the wacom settings to the startup menu. in kde3 I did it though auto start in kcontrol
    Thanks

    In KDE4 the autostart settings are found in:

    System--> System Settings

    Once the dialog appears click on the Advanced tab. Click on the Autostart icon on that tab. You can set up KDE4 to execute programs or run scripts from that dialog.

      Thanks Grey Geek: I found it, now I have figure out why wacomcpl isn't opening. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't, unless it's a permissions issue.

        Have you tried starting it from the command line, so you can see if it throws up any error messages?

              Got my tablet working, it looks like I had a bad install, there wasn't any .initrc file in/home/scott. I did a new install on my laptop and things are working.
