Hello everyone. Not particularly a kubuntu question.
I got myself one of those netbook things. To be exact a Samsung NC10 one.
The only thing that bugged me was: when i plug in my headphones, the pc speakers don't stop making sound.
so I read somewhere that updating alsa to the newest version would do the trick. So I downloaded the alsa source code, compiled it "make install"ed it. Rebooted.
Now I have a different problem : no matter if I plug my headphones in, pc speakers plays as they played but the headphones are silent. Kind of an inverse effect than I expected.
Now the biggest question: did i do something wrong here?
Or is it something I missed?
