Ok so tonight is the first time I have ever put the GIMP to work. I'm creating a new website for a friend and I'm working on the banner for the site. I am no graphic artist whatsoever but I'm pretty impressed with what I've got going here so far. The problem is I was falling this tutorial http://www.tutorialized.com/view/tut...mes-fire/26928 and so now I have my text all ready to be pasted onto the main image that I'm using for the banner. Problem is that my text is on the black background and I don't want that background to be in the image. Is there an easy way to just grab only the text and use that? Thanks for your help with this.
