    Rocket Dock analog for Linux?

Is there such a thing as a Linux package that functions like the Rocket Dock does for Windows? It is a program that keeps desktop icons hidden to be revealed when you move the cursor to the egde of the screen. It is similar to the "hide toolbar" function, only for desktop icons.

I'm not familiar with Rocket Doc. I think you could probably do what you are trying to do by adding a plasma panel (right click on the desktop, then Add Panel), position it where you want, drag things to it, and then make it hidden. I know there are several docking applications for gnome; whether or not they work with kde, I do not know.cairo-dock maybe?
