Karmic kdelibs-bin bug

Just a heads up: There appears to be some kind of breakage with the new kdelibs5-bin 4:4.2.85 packages. They were causing my entire compiz desktop to render black (YMMV). Backleveling to 4:4.2.2-2 fixes the issue.

I haven't seen anyone else report this yet, so it may only happen when you're using a combination of things (nvidia drivers + Compiz?).

It could be the mixed system problem as was with the Intrepid > Version conflicts.

That's quite possible.

It's one of the thoughts that's got me holding off on posting any bugreport until at least next week. I can get by with running the older kdelibs-bin until then - as everything else still seems to work perfect that way.

BTW - never did have to file that bugreport. It was a mixed lib problem that they fixed by uploading new packages over the weekend.
