Trouble with Kubuntu or what?

Why does my Open Office show no text in menus, or my Irc program and the list is longer Amrok , the network window. In the menus are no text and in the tool bars no text. When you move the mouse over you can get a glimpse of what is supposed to be there but other program works fine. I'm unable to understand this problem. I've got KDE 4.1.4 and a standard pack with it, what ever that means :-/

you should look at this here

and *nix is case sencitive its not

you must have a capital X for X11 as below

sudo kate /etc/X11/xorg.conf

that will allow you to edit your xorg.
