Today, I recieved my mum's LCD tv, for use as a monitor for my Asus EEE pc laptop. It is very useful, as I do alot of animating, and this sort of screen space is ideal. I hooked it up via. VGA (feeling fairly confident, as I had done this before on the default xandros OS, and it worked beautifully), the Kubuntu loading screen came up on both the EEE pc and the LCD tv. Then the login screen came up (still nothing out of the ordinary), then as soon as the splash screen came up, the LCD tv went blank every few seconds, without cease. ...Help? I have tried many things, such as changing the resolution and refresh rate...in vain.
