What's the best DVD player for Kubunut 8.1?

I have real player and of course that dragon program, but the dragon wouldn't play my its a wonderful life DVD and I can't find any DVD with real player, so, I'm kinda wondering what the seasoned Kubuntu guys use, preferably something with maximum user friendliness

I already have the restricted extras installed, so I guess it should be working but it's not.

what Snowhog posted should help out... make sure you have the libdvdcss2 installed.
for recommendations on a different player... try either VLC or MPlayer. Kaffeine is another option but I had some flickering issues with it.
