Hi,
I just gave my old laptop to a friend after installing Kubuntu on it. (I think it was 8.04). He's new to Linux and hasn't used Windows in years, so I figured that Kubuntu would be a good choice.
Yesterday he called and wanted to know if I could recommend a good book to teach him Kubuntu and/or Linux.
I searched Amazon and it seems that all the relevant books there are about Ubuntu, not Kubuntu. I'd like to be able to recommend a book to him that is more Kubuntu-based so that he doesn't have to worry about the discrepancy between desktop environments.
Is there a good beginner's book he could purchase or download that is Kubuntu-centered?
Thanks,
-Joe G.
