Well yes I can probably come across as a real mean bastard ranting but let me be clear. The OS is fine I love Linux and the developers that are working on Kubuntu is doing a hell of a job no question about it BUT the choice of KDE4 for Intrepid was wrong according to me, Thats it, KDE4 is not ready for it and the uppgrade process was/is not a smooth ride. I have been on the Deb track for a few years, came in through Debian, stable as hell but moves forward fast as a snail, moved to Kuduntu to get some forward momentum... and got to much, after two super upgrades where everything just worked. Maybe I got spoiled...
