Re: 8.10 faster?
Yup! Yup! I've noticed a faster boot-up time too and so much more smoooth as well, the graphics are very smooth almost like fresh dairy cream - (if you will accept the different colours on your desktop) !
I run a Packard Bell cpu Pentium 4, 3.04mb, 8048 of main memory, two optical drives with a 1290X1024 resolution (60Mhertz) on a 17 inch flat monitor (ohh! for a 24 inch model 8) ) seperate graphics card (not sure which other than its a fast Nvidia one)! I don't always build my own computers although I build networks quite often from my days with Seimens and International Computers ltd;
terabyte
