accessing the system tray with keyboard shortkuts?

I have a physical/mental condition that makes it so I cannot use the mouse. I can do almost anything without mousekeys on kubuntu but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to access the system tray with keyboard shortcuts. does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

Have you installed the kdeaccessibility package? The Kmousetool may be of interest to you. I'd suggest checking it out at http://accessibility.kde.org/aids/kmousetool.php If it looks useful download the package.

Through the panel, can you not use Keyboard shortcuts / panel / next / previous taskbar entry?
