I have a physical/mental condition that makes it so I cannot use the mouse. I can do almost anything without mousekeys on kubuntu but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to access the system tray with keyboard shortcuts. does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this?

Re: accessing the system tray with keyboard shortkuts?
Have you installed the kdeaccessibility package? The Kmousetool may be of interest to you. I'd suggest checking it out at http://accessibility.kde.org/aids/kmousetool.php If it looks useful download the package.

I am allready set that up. in windows I could press ctrl-b and use the arrow keys to navagate the system tray. now I have to hold down 9 and wait for mouse keys to drag the mouse over to the top of the screen. it takes time,
