windows re-install on dual boot with grub

Well it had to happen, I finally destroyed windows on my dual boot installation with kubuntu 8.04. I don't use windows much but I do need it from time to time (Like to run streets & trips and a couple of other apps .) My question is can anyone tell me how to re-install windows without having the boot sector overwritten and destroying my grub bootloader. Alternatively, what would be the simplest way to re-install grub if I have to overwrite it during a windows install? Thanks in advance for any help.

If you are just using Kubuntu now and plan on using Windows only for other tools and not for gaming, you might want to consider using VirtualBox or VMWare. You don't need to set up a separate partition (unless it is for extra storage for Kubuntu and the virtual disk can reside there) or worry about GRUB.
