    Multi-select?

    I'm sorry if this is really obvious or already answered somewhere else but I couldn't find it. Anyway it has really been bugging me lately and I want to know how to do like a ctrl select in KDE 4.1 like I could back in 3.5.9. I let my files get a bit unorganized sometimes and like going through a bunch of then and selecting all the ones I want and then just deleting or moving all of them at once.

    I'm not sure if I entirely get your question, but check here for perhaps some help: Dolphin tweaks

      No. Okay. Crude ANSII art time.

      {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}
      {}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}

      How do I select one set of files and then also drag over and select another set. In Windows and in KDE previously after you highlighted the first set you just held ctrl while you dragged over the second set and it would keep them both selected so at this point I could just hit delete once instead of selecting the first group, deleting, and then selecting the second group, and then deleting again.

        Switch to detail view instead of icons and it works with Ctrl... perhaps you have found a bug.

        Although in that bug they are talking about all sorts of problems... kind of a random mess i think... but, like i said, switching to detail view will get you by for now.

        A different bug lead to a Qt bug, which seems to be your problem:

        But that shows as closed in 4.4.0... hmmm..

        Good discussion of it here READ FIRST:
