    Finding the Correct Programm

Today I just reinstalled my computer, and went from Windows ME to Kubuntu. Thing is, I need a program that lets me do interior design.

I'm not looking for anythin major. Just a simple flat representation of a room I define, that lets me put up rectangualr boxes and marks that shows doors, possible furniture, windows and such. Also with the ability to "draw" or "plot" things using correct measurements, so that 1m = 10cm or whatever scale is needed. I used to have a program like that for windows a few eyars back, but I dont remmember the name of it

Anyone out there have any idea as to what program I could use?

Welcome to the Free(dom) Sofware world

Maybe you can do with OpenOffice Draw.Draw a rectangle, select its properties (size etc) by right clicking on it, and there ya go. Not a CAD program of course
