I have a Toshiba Satellite A215 with an ATI Radeon X1200 video card. Looking through the available drivers on the ATI website, there doesn't seem to be anything available, so I'm asking... Is this card compatible with any other driver from ATI or even the open source driver? There is a driver available for this card in Vista under the integrated cards listing, but nowhere to be found in any category for Linux. I think this is my only problem with the 8.04 install on that laptop, so it would be great to get that fixed.

Checkout HOWTO: Install and use the Envy script installer for video drivers (by dibl). It's helped many with nVidia / ATI video issues.Windows no longer obstructs my view.

Slight problem with that, the laptop isn't connected to the internet. The modem isn't supported at all. That's why I was looking for the driver to download on my internet connected computer, and transfer it to the Toshiba with a flash drive.Keyboard not detected. Press F1 to continue...Comment
