Syncing iphone with Kubuntu?

A friend of mine came up to me yesterday and desperately wants to get rid of his vista on Laptop and Desktop.

He would love me to install kubuntu on both but has one problem:
He needs to be able to sync his iphone with his email/contacts/calander, etc.

but that concerns music syncing. Don't need that for now.

Anyone have an idea on this one??

I haven't got an iPhone (I'm a student, no way could I afford one!) but if it can sync over Bluetooth, then experimenting with multisync-qad and its irmc-bluetooth plugin might be a good start.

This guy suggests an alternative way of doing it, but it looks a little involved.
