KDE4 - Anyone else lose ability to have monitor shut off in power management?

    This happened to me in

KDE4 Hardy on my desktop during the last update/upgrade. It was working fine prior to the official beta release.

KDE4 Gutsy on my asus eee pc druing the last update/upgrade.

The options are checked under Systemsettings --> Display --> Power

I can set it to anything and the monitor stays on. Using kpowersave, it will blank, but the backlight stays on.

    Help?

    Hi.

Yes same thing here. I noticed it when KDE4.0 came out.
Upgrading to 4.1 beta 2 still has this issue. No matter what I set it to under power management the screen saver stays on.

When I go back to KDE 3.5 monitor shut off works again.

I have not had the time to look into this, but it's preventing me from switching to KDE 4 at this point.

    Cheers,
