two beeps after waking up from hibernate

Hi,

I have Kubuntu 5.10, but this issue also applied for my previous 5.04.

I have a IBM T40 mobile computer. And when I wake up from hibernation, and my computer is not muted by hard-ware button (special button on the keyboard), after unpacking the image and before showing KDE there are two nasty beeps in the set volume.

Its quite anoying when you used the computer at home, watching some movie, hibernate, and then turn on thoughtless in the office.

Is there a way to disable this... "feature" ?

Don't know much about laptop hibernation :P, but you could try editing system warnings/notifications in control center under Sounds and Multimedia?
