So here's the deal. My printer is properly setup. However, if I don't have it turned on (the printer) when I power on my PC, I can't print. Jobs are accepted, they just don't print. Now, if I've sent a job to the printer, and I powerdown and shut off the PC, and then restart the PC, the job I sent to the printer prints!
It is a normal situation to have ones printer off until you want to use it. So what controls the printer daemon so that, with the system up and running, and I then turn on the printer, the printer will actually print my jobs??
