I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ8 camera, but when I plug it into my pc kubuntu gives me an error. I have tried to install it under system settings, but I get "camera configuration failed".
Any solutions?

Not so much a solution as a possible alternative but if you have an sd card reader in your computer then just take the card out of your camera and slip it in. Thats how I go about getting my photos. Sorry I'm not more helpful on this. -

Just switch the camera to print mode and then connect it to your PC.Comment
