    torrent app

    Hi,

    What's a recommended app for d/ling torrents?

I like Ktorrent but I need something that runs without me being logged into the box, most of the time it sits at the login and I remote in with NX...also I would like something that could pick up torrents from a folder and autostart them like KTorrrent can do.

    Suggestions welcome!

    Thanks.

Azureus seems to be very popular. I installed it the other day and opened it up to take a look, but I can't testify about its performance (yet). But I'm not sure how you plan to run an app on a system with no one logged it??

apache, samba, NX etc. all run when the machine is at the login so I'm pretty much after the same kind of setup for torrents. I do remember seeing a torrent app that was web-based, torrentflux, but i wondered if anyone else had come across a better one...

I've been trying deluge and transmission, I used azureus in m$ till utorrent came out. I tried azureus the other day and it doesn't offer me much bang for the buck (heavy on system resources). I might just install utorrent in wine. I guess I could give ktorrent a try again does it have encryption?
