Hi all,
Im having problems with splashy. It only gives me black screen from grub -> login, no error messages.
So, I did the following:
-uninstall usplash
-install both splashy and splashy themes
-tweak menu.ist, added vga=791 splash to the kernel line
-ran splashy_config -s fingerprint (said everything ok)
Still, I get nothing but black screen >
although when I run command splashy test on konsole, it says "Splashy ERROR: Couldn't splashy_start_splashy(). Error -2"
Im using kubuntu 7.10.
Any help would be appreciated
