    how to install d-link usb wi fi card drivers ??

    hi friends

    i recently installed kubuntu on my pc but am unable to connect to the net coz my wi fi card is not detected by the pc. from where shall i get the drivers for it and also can neone explain me the procedure to install the same(with commands ofcourse). i am totally new to linux and need expert guidance. plz........ reply fast.

    What is the model number of your wifi card?

        OK, googling didn't turn up any Linux drivers, so what you'll probably have to do is install the ndiswrapper-common, ndiswrapper-utils-*, and ndisgtk packages (they are all available from the repos). Once you've installed them, run ndisgtk (which serves as a front-end to ndiswrapper) and install the Windows driver for your wifi card, either via driver CD or a download. If you need help with that step, let me know.
