everything we need to get the OS to work requires apt-get. but what if internet doesn't "just work"? if i didn't have access to a second computer that could go online to search for posts online that have solved the same problems i've got, i'd never be able to set up my system... i'm a newbie who's keen on learning... but if i can't use apt-get update, am i totally doomed?
