    KDE menu bar vanished

My OS is Gutsy Gibbon (which I regret, somewhat).
Problem: With no precipitating event that I can identify, the KDE menubar (that shows the applications button, the sys tray, the desktops, the open programs, etc.) quietly vanished. I restarted my computer, but it is still gone. Could someone please help me find it? [I can open a Konsole, use alt-f2, etc., but I don't really know Linux, so I need clear instructions.]

    Thanks, in advance!

Open a konsole and enter the command 'kcontrol' or alt-f2 and enter kcontrol

Go to Desktop > Panels and play with the settings there and see if you can get your menubar back (Main Panel).

    Rgds,

    Martin

      That was embarrassingly easy. Thanks.
