Hi,

I found that my systems settings were crashing so I went to look for a solution and I found snowhog's post : http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/inde...opic=3088490.0

sudo mv /etc/xdg/menus/kde-applications-merged/system-settings-merge.menu /etc/xdg/menus/applications-merged/system-settings-merge.menu

I copied as per instructions but I didn't check that I copied correctly.... infact, I didn't add "system-settings-merge.menu" at the end. now I can't find the file anymore...

Can anyone help me?

Hmmm. Tsk, tsk. :P Read twice, copy once.

Open a console and type:

cd /
sudo find -name system-settings-merge.menu

If it is to be found, this will tell you were you put it.
