K Menu | System Settings Crash - Solution Found

If you've upgraded to KDE 3.5.8 and experience a crash when accessing K Menu | System Settings, this is how to fix the problem.

Move the file "system-settings-merge.menu" from /etc/xdg/menus/kde-applications-merged to /etc/xdg/menus/applications-merged

Open a konsole shell and type:
    Code:
    sudo mv /etc/xdg/menus/kde-applications-merged/system-settings-merge.menu /etc/xdg/menus/applications-merged/system-settings-merge.menu
Bug was originally reported on launchpad, and the solution posted by Goodness

Thank Goodness (no pun intended!) I was having the same problem until I found this solution on Launchpad.
