    kubuntu pronunciation guide

I find i have this problem with a lot of Linux distros and packages.

So, how do you pronounce kubuntu?

I've been saying it as "kooboontoo" But I've also heard "kayooboontoo"

Just wondered what what was correct.

    Re: kubuntu pronunciation guide

Since Ubuntu is pronounced as "oo-boon-too", I believe Kubuntu is "koo-boon-too".

And looks like the FAQ agrees with me: http://www.kubuntu.org/faq.php

          Re: kubuntu pronunciation guide

Regardless of what the Howto says, or how I try, I always just say "Cue-bun-too" or, if I'm really tired, "Kay-you-bun-too"...

I usually want to call it Kubu these days though... sounds more cute, like Konqui. :P
