Mezzo desktop environment (Symphony OS)

Was just reading an article about the various desktop environments.

My interest was caught by the description of SymphonyOS which I have decided I would like to check out.

According to the page symphonyOS runs the Mezzo Desktop Environment on a "Ubuntu Base System". Given this I was wondering if anyone knows if its possible to just get a copy of the mezzoDE and install this over the top of my current kubuntu setup? Checked the repos and couldn't see anything on it there.

Also has anyone used the mezzoDE and has some thoughts on it?

I think KDE could be tweaked in order to have that kind of interface
