I'm in the market for a PDA, and want to keep it open source. But I don't fancy the Sharp Zaurus much, too pricey.

I really like the look of the CDL Paron, but I can't find a trace of it or the company anywhere. Looks like either they went belly-up or the military made them all top-secret (in which case I want one even more!). Anyone ever seen one of these in the field?
