KDE 4 - Testing..

Hi, im wondering about KDE 4, if I install it, will this replace my existing KDE installation or will it add a new session?

Basically im wondering that if KDE 4 totally ****s up, will I still be able to run my KDE 3 sessions, and just remove KDE 4 ?

KDE4 will install next to your existing three-something KDE install. The most recent install instructions are found here: http://kubuntu.org/announcements/kde4-beta2.php and they tell you how to add your KDE4 to your session manager in the KDM.

I'm not having much luck with the KDE4 currently, but I don't know how much of that is video cards and old equipment and how much of that is just the KDE4 still being beta and such. The annoying thing is, the Alpha behaved better for me than the Beta is.

Well I tried and failed miserably, when trying to boot up the session it complains about kdeinit not being found or something.. bleh
