    Disk FreeSpace

Is there a utility that shows a pie graph or at least number of how much free space is left on the partition and how much has been used? Something like the windows default one? I know i could just use GParted but thought maybe there was something better?

    Open a Konsole and type:
    Code:
    df -h -T

In the repos is a package named "filelight" that is about as close to the Windows view as I know of in Linux. Just open Adept and mark it for installation.

filelight looks pretty, but I'm not sure it provides much useful information. At least, looking at the KDE-Apps.org site it's on, it doesn't present much in the way of what I would say is useful. But, it's easy enough, as dibl points out, to select it for installation and check it out. If you don't like it, you can uninstall it.

            Re: Disk FreeSpace

Hi, actually there are a number of ways that I have found and used.

            KDF (in the repositories).

KwikDisk (also in the repositories), which resides in your system tray and is a shortcut to kdf.

baobab (This actually is part of the gnome-utils though (also in the repositories)).

Installing the Storage Media panel applet. with this you can just right click on the drive in question and chooses properties.

There are definitely other ways as specified before. (note: baobab is a lot like filelight in looks)

            Hope I was some help.
