Wont boot from cd

I put the cd in restart my computer and always boots to xp and yes Im going to run dual boot with two hard drives. I have a msn motherboard. Do I need to swicth it to post or somthing because it works on my laptop.

You should see an option briefly when you first boot to enter the setup(bios). You will have to change the boot order so that the cd/dvd drive boots before the hard disc. Save the settings and exit to continue to boot Kubutnu.
