Autorun script on usb device

I'd like to set a small script or similar on my usb pen drive to say were to mount it, with certain permissions and to start certain programs (or show it on the autorun dialog). I want it on my usb pen because I want it to do the exact same thing independently of the PC, since it have Linux.

Is it possible? If it is, can you explain me how, please?

in windows there is autorum.inf and i can customize icons too. dunno about linux...
