Use /home partition From Old Mepis Installation

I had Mepis 6.5 installed and had my /home set up on a separate hard disk. I've now installed Kubuntu 7.04, but the setup utility didn't give the option to use an existing /home and so set up another in /. How can I get Kubuntu to see the /home partition I was using before?

    Thanks

You need to use the Alternate Install CD (ISO image). It allows "guided partitioning", which basically means you get to tell it where to mount root, swap, and /home.

Wasn't quite as straight forward as I thought it might be, but a combination of using Manual Partitioning and Guided Partitioning and I was able to mount the /home partition from by previous distro install.

      Thanks
