I've download firefox 1.5, but don't know how to install and
start it.

it was working for a while.

but now it can not load any webpage
it takes ages to load a page and finally told me "time out"
nothing could be loaded

are you sure it's not just your internet connection being down, or that you didn't touch any settings within Fx itself?

Try using Konqueror to load up a webpage, to test your connection. There is a command line way to check, but I don't know it, so just use Konq.

My internet connection is working fine...I can use messenger(Kopete), browse webpage by Konqueror..but firefox.

it doen't load any page....

doen't firefox rely on gtk+?

all my gtk+ software can connect to internet...like gaim.
