    abiword-gnome?

    Hi,
I'm new to Kubuntu. When I use other Linux distros I install KDE and Gnome, plus maybe some other desktops. Now I'm trying Kubuntu for the first time and setting it up still (installing all the additional programs I want which don't install by default, etc). I'm wondering, should I install abiword-gnome or just abiword? I think maybe the gnome one has a few more features?

I'm also wondering if I should install Gnome, but that probably should be its own thread in another subforum... I'm sure I can read plenty about that without starting my own thread, too. But I didn't see ANY messages about abiword-gnome in the kubuntu formus...

Keep in mind is that Kubuntu and Ubuntu utilize different desktop architectures. Ubuntu uses Gnome and Kubuntu uses KDE. It is a matter of preference of the user as to which desktop environment is most desireable or has the features they want.
