    insert cd with apt-get

    hi all,

I had Kubuntu Dapper and I did a new fresh (formatting included) installation of Edgy. Now when I try to install some things (synaptic, ndiswrapper) I am asked for the CD of instalation with the following message:

Media change: please insert the disc labeled
    'Kubuntu 6.10 _Edgy Eft_ - Release i386 (20061025)'
in the drive '/cdrom/' and press enter

It dont happen for others packages.
Ts is very annoying, and even more when I dont carry the CD with me. Could any one help me to solve this?

    Thanks in advanced.

    Re: insert cd with apt-get

Open the run command (alt-f2) and type:
    kdesu kate /etc/apt/sources.list
you will be asked for your password and then kate will open with your sources.list. Find the line that shows the cd/dvd and place a # in front of it. Save and close. You will have to sudo apt-get update then you should not be asked for the disc again. The packages will come from the net.
