Kaffeine

I just installed Kubuntu on my computer. I am having problems with the multi media. Kaffeine keeps closing down, and will not play a dvd. I sent a bug report. What else can I do.

If you will click the KMenu icon in the lower left corner of your desktop, then click "System", and in the system menu click "Adept Manager", you will first be asked for your Super User password, and then you will be presented with a list of over 20,000 "packages", which is Debian-speak for software applications. When you click on the name of a package, it will open and provide a summary description of what the package does. If you click "request installation", then it will be marked for installation, and if you click "Apply" at the top of the Adept Manager panel, it will perform the installation for you.

Hope that begins to clear up the "how" of it ....

I must have an older version of kubuntu and need to update. How do I update, and how do I get the newest version of Kaffeine. I keep getting an error message when i try to play a dvd. How do I fix an error. this is what happens when I back trace. Please help
