    wlan assistant

    Hey!
Me and my friend installed Kubuntu 6.10 edgy (yeah, we know it's old) and we've got a problem :P
The wlan assistant seems to be quite easy to use, though when I type in the parameters, the assistant doesn't connect to the selected lan (my friend has the same problem). Is there something that we're doing wrong? I choose to automatically obtain the IP, then select either Open Key or Shared Key, and the ASCII or HEX type (Even with the 0x), generally speaking, I tried all sort of combinations, and it still won't connect.
If anyone knows how to help me, please do...

    Re: wlan assistant

Try upgrading to knetwork manager, it has replaced wlan assistant in feisty and is much better. It should be somewhere in the repositories, or perhaps you could even get feisty itself.
