    Wireless

    Hi guys,
I've a strange problem with my wireless card (Ibm thinkpad r40, cisco wlan adaptor, kubuntu breezy).

in network conf my wireless card appears twice: as eth0 with its normal mac address and as eth3 with its mac address plus something like 00-00-00

in wifi manager I'm able to configure only eth3 but with that strange mac its not recognized by various access points with mac auth.

How can I disable/delete/destroy this eth3? In /etc/networking/interfaces I've only my wired card.

    thanks!!

      Hi,
in kcontrol I see eth0 & eth3 both disabled. If I try to enable eth0 (or eth3) it stays enabled only 2 seconds
